THE NEVADA BUILDER TRADE IN PROGRAM CONGRATULATES SILVER NUGGET WINNERS

Robert and I attended the Silver Nugget Awards last month to cheer on our builder partners in the Nevada Builder Trade In Program as they received awards for excellence in homebuilding for 2018.

Our builder partners are the key to the success of the program that we operate as well as the Smith Team at Keller Williams Las Vegas.  Builders that are recognized for their innovative new home designs and the quality of their customer service influence homeowner’s decisions to buy a newly built home while selling their existing home through the contingency program available with the Nevada Builder Trade In Program.


It was exciting to see our partner Pulte Homes receive Silver Nugget Awards for Community of the Year for Reverence, multiple design awards and Salesperson of the Year award.

Woodside Homes was acknowledged for beautiful home designs and Beazer Homes’ Matthew Shultz earned a Silver Nugget Award for Salesperson of the Year for his incredible customer service.

Also several communities – Inspirada, Skye Canyon and Summerlin won awards and are home to neighborhoods that offer newly built homes where the Nevada Builder Trade In Program is helping clients buy a new home and at the same time selling the home they are currently living in.


We offer a reduced commission for the sellers we work with while offering the buyer’s agent the standard 3 percent commission.  The Smith Team members are with our clients every step of the buying and selling process and handles any and all details during the contingency purchase.

The Nevada Builder Trade In Program was started in 2014 and four years later we have happily helped hundreds of residents of Las Vegas move to a newly built home.  When we have a new client that wants to sell a home in order to buy a newly built home we sit down and explain the concept, as it can seem confusing at the beginning, as there are so many unknowns and questions.  The biggest question is about how you can buy a new home on contingency when you have no idea how much you will sell your existing home for and well as the timing of sale.


The existing home usually sells in 30 -60 days through the program.  We understand the Las Vegas real estate thoroughly due to our nearly 30 years of experience – we know what buyers are looking for in a home and price your home to sell according to the comparable prices for your home and neighborhood.

The program now services 50 neighborhoods from Beazer Homes, Century Communities, Pulte Homes, Woodside Homes and Sun City in Mesquite by Del Webb.  Plus some neighborhoods will sell standing inventory on contingency as well as homes in various phases of construction.
