For some reason after winter has left us and spring is here we seem to want to freshen up our homes. Maybe it is because the flowers are starting to bloom and the trees have turned green.
A fresh coat of paint, in even one room or through the entire house, will give you the sense of newness. Let’s face it we are all looking for newness after the last 14 months. You probably are up for a new color that still goes with all your furnishings.
The perfect color for most people is Taupe. There are so many taupe colors to choose from, you can actually make it your taupe. There are cool taupe’s, warm taupe’s, yellow taupe, pink taupe, light taupe, dark taupe – you get the idea.
So take a sort of inventory of the room or rooms you are going to paint and take some pictures of your flooring, large pieces of furniture and any accent pieces you want to have in the room and go to the paint store. Some paint manufacturers offer a trail size of paint so if you are not sure purchase three little sample size cans and try it out in your home. You will be able to see the color in the natural light in your home.
