Some neighborhoods offer two-story homes featuring a well-placed elevator so everyone can enjoy access to both levels.
Having a home with two first-floor primary suites is great for the multi-generational family in a two-story home with other bedrooms on the second floor. Some of these homes are large and have a great room besides a living room as well as an office.
In some neighborhoods, a good amount of the floor plans are single-story homes with a Next Gen private suite ideal for extended family with a separate entrance, living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and garage that enables relatives to live independently.
Another way to accommodate two generations of adults living in the same home is a casita that has a bedroom a living space and a kitchen area.
