Especially this year we can use some holiday cheer! The Water Street District transforms into a winter wonderland for WinterFest for the entire the month of December.
As one of the city’s largest holiday celebrations, WinterFest will feature festive activities and entertainment for the entire family. This year, the event will include a virtual tree lighting ceremony, holiday concerts, a cookie crawl, a light display along Water Street, and, of course, Santa Claus.
Admission to WinterFest is free and open to the public. The celebration will kick off with the Mayor’s tree lighting ceremony on December 3, with several mini-programs throughout the month. Check the City of Henderson’s website often for WinterFest updates and a schedule of events. We can’t wait to celebrate this magical season together!

You’ll find strolling entertainment along Water Street throughout December.
Letters to Santa
December 3-23
Drop your letter to Santa in our mailbox located on Army Street. We’ll send your wishes straight to the North Pole.
Tree Lighting
December 3 at 5pm. There is no in-person attendance for this event.

Take a stroll along Water Street and enjoy cookie stations along the way. Cookies will be baked to perfection and packaged with love by Chef Flemings. All participants must register in advance to receive cookies. Ages 5-12, $5
